BSA Proposes a New CPT with Reduced Costs and Fewer Members

The stakeholders of the April 3rd Accord met with the CARICOM Group of Eminent Persons on Monday, December 16, 2024. During this meeting, several signatories expressed their frustration with the actions of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT). On the Magik 9 morning show of Tuesday, December 17, 2024, Magali Comeau Denis, a member of the Monitoring Bureau of the Montana Accord (BSA), reflected on their participation in this meeting and the positions they defended.

At the meeting with CARICOM, Magali Comeau Denis revealed that the representatives of the Montana Accord defended the position they have always publicly expressed, stating that Montana does not see CARICOM as a tribunal to lodge complaints but as a facilitator.
