According to ISC, The Three Indicted CPT Members Are Obliged to Appear in Court

Presidential Adviser Louis Gérald Gilles, indicted in the BNC case, did not comply on Monday, December 9, with the summons issued by investigating judge Benjamin Félismé. Dr. Gilles and two of his CPT colleagues implicated in this corruption scandal are hiding behind their status as “presidential advisors” to avoid facing justice. In an open letter, the Initiative de la Société Civile (ISC) calls on the president of the CPT to notify the individuals concerned that they have an obligation to respond to the magistrate's summons.

"Mr. President,

The Initiative de la Société Civile (ISC) has the honor of addressing this letter to you, for the good of the Nation, to invite you and the five other members of the Transitional Presidential Council who are not implicated in the Banque Nationale de Crédit case, to clearly notify the three members involved that they have both a moral and legal obligation to respond positively to the judge's summons for this case,” the ISC writes to Leslie Voltaire.
