Garry Conille’s Requests to the CPT

The transition is struggling. The two branches of the executive are divided. The Prime Minister and the Presidential Council cannot even agree on the bare minimum: communication. Some Presidential Advisors refuse to meet with Prime Minister Garry Conille, who, in turn, is calling for the removal of the CPT members indicted in the BNC corruption case. In a letter sent on November 5 only to Leslie Voltaire, Garry Conille outlines what should be done to save the transition.

Since Leslie Voltaire assumed leadership of the CPT, he has never been able to organize a Presidential Council meeting. The few encounters with the Prime Minister have only served to escalate tensions between the two branches of the executive. The Presidential Council’s goal is clear: to take full control of the government by changing the ministers closest to the Prime Minister.
