Although the Presidential Council had officially announced the formation of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) for August 28, 2024, as of Wednesday, only three out of nine sectors had submitted names to the CPT without any disputes or duplications. At this time, the Presidential Council is unable to set a date for establishing the electoral institution.
