Sacred Heart Brothers' Congregation Demands Release of Abducted Religious, Urges Christian Prayer

The Congregation of the Sacred Heart Brothers in Haiti issued an urgent appeal for the release of Brothers Pierre Isaac Valméus and Adam Montclairson Marius, two of the six religious abducted on February 23 in Bicentenaire, and called on the Christian community to prayer and fasting.

"The Haiti Province of the Sacred Heart Brothers suffers from the desperate situation experienced by nearly four million people living in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince. It strongly reiterates its call for the immediate release of Brothers Adam Montclairson Marius and Pierre Isaac Valméus," reads a statement released on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
