BID: $1.1 Billion Allocated for Projects in Haiti

In an exclusive interview with Le Nouvelliste, Corinne Cathala, the representative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Haiti, outlined the institution's achievements in Haiti, with a total allocation of $1.1 billion USD.

"We have 21 projects. The total amount of approved projects stands at $1.1 billion USD, with 50% already disbursed," Cathala revealed. "Last year, we projected disbursements of around $157 million USD, and we have already reached 80% of that," she added, noting that Haiti also has access to concessional funds since last year, with an allocation of $168 million USD for this year.
