Frantz Elbé, the Director-General of the Haitian National Police (HNP), visited Kenya this week. The Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian police led a high-level mission involving police and justice officials to this East African country, as a prelude to the potential deployment of a multinational security support mission in Haiti. Elbé is accompanied by Frédéric Leconte, head of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), and Paul Eronce Villard, chief of staff to the Minister of Justice and Public Security.<
