MSS: 140 Kenyan Police Officers Arrive in Haiti Along with Three Helicopters

A new contingent of 140 Kenyan police officers, including 24 women, arrived in Port-au-Prince on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in the middle of the day. This new contingent strengthens the number of troops already present in Haiti. At the same time, three helicopters were delivered to the Salvadoran contingent of the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSS).

Arriving at Toussaint Louverture International Airport aboard a Kenya Airways plane, the new contingent was welcomed by the President of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT), Leslie Voltaire, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, the Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH), Rameau Normil, MSS Commander Godfrey Otunge, and members of the diplomatic corps, including the ambassadors of France, Canada, Spain, and the United States.
