The closure of the judicial year saw a satisfactory assessment of the Court of Cassation's performance

On Friday, July 28th, the President of the Superior Council of Judicial Power (CSPJ), Jean-Joseph Lebrun, officially closed the judicial proceedings for the year 2022-2023 at the premises of the Court of Cassation. The notable achievement of the year goes to the work carried out by the two sections of the Court of Cassation. From March to July, a total of 150 verdicts were issued, covering both urgent and ordinary matters, by the two sections of the Court. Additionally, six verdicts were delivered in joint sessions.

The last Friday of July coincides with the closure of courts in the country. The President of the CSPJ (Superior Council of Judicial Power), Jean-Joseph Lebrun, admitted that a difficult judicial year had just concluded, but he also expressed pride in the more or less satisfactory work accomplished both at the central administration level and within the jurisdictions.
