Towards the construction of a building for the Hydro-meteorological Unit

In the context of climate services program for the reduction of vulnerability in Haiti, the National Department of Water Resources and the National Meteorological Centre will benefit from a brand new building. This building whose execution is given to UNOPS will be built in front of the Toussaint Louverture airport and will be fully funded by the Canadian government to the tune of 6.5 million Canadian dollars.

On November 13th, the Ministry of Agriculture, Canadian Cooperation and the World Meteorological Organization proceeded to lay the first stone of the building to house the National Meteorological Centre (CNM in French) and the National Water Resources Center (SNRE in French).
