The color of skin does not reflect intelligence or morality. People close to the equator have more melanin to protect themselves from UV rays. Those in the North have less to produce Vitamin D with little sunlight. It's 4 to 6 genes out of 20,000, fewer than those that determine height or nose shape.
We are not born racist but our brain categorizes quickly. It likes to align us against them. In 100 milliseconds, it classifies by age, gender, and face. Skin color is a very striking visual marker.
At 3-4 years, a child does not show racial preference. By 6-7 years, they have already assimilated the stereotypes of their society through media, family, and school.
No study has discovered a gene coding to hate one's neighbor. However, we have genes that influence fear, anxiety, and conformity. Culture plays a guiding role in this area.
False biological arguments must be rejected: “Blacks run faster than others.
Top sprinters mostly come from West Africa. Marathon runners are typically from East Africa. Asians seem to be more intelligent in math.”
