After more than two weeks of operations, the Haitian National Police has regained control of several areas in the municipality of Kenscoff that were previously occupied by armed groups, Mayor Masillon Jean stated in a declaration sent to Nouvelliste this Wednesday morning.
According to the mayor, law enforcement now controls Viard 1, Viard 2, Terre-Rouge, Godet, Dépensé, Bois-d’Avril, Morne Zombie, Nan Croupi, and Belot. These advancements also allow them to monitor Boucan and surrounding areas. Belo
