The OCNH trains over twenty monitors to better follow court proceedings

The Organization of Citizens for a New Haiti (OCNH), in partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), launched on Monday, September 28, 2026, in Pétion-Ville, a training program aimed at over twenty judicial monitors as part of the National Program for Court Observation and Judicial Monitoring. Scheduled until September 30, this training focuses on legal frameworks, fair trials, and the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The program will be deployed in five departments, including Ouest, Nord, Nord-Est, Nippes, and Grand’Anse, in order to document the progress of court proceedings, identify challenges within the judicial system, and provide useful data for future reforms.<\/p>
