United Nations: Valéry Fils-Aimé Meets with the Regional Director of the Green Climate Fund

Environment Minister Valéry Fils-Aimé met on September 20, 2026, with Kristin Lang, the regional director of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for Latin America and the Caribbean, at the Permanent Mission of Haiti to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. They discussed strengthening Haiti's access to climate financing, developing national capacities, and supporting the Haitian private sector to facilitate its access to GCF mechanisms and mobilize green investments.<\/p>
