The FFLP Will Review a Funding Request from Haiti in December 2026

The review of a funding request for 20 million US dollars submitted by Haiti to the Loss and Damage Response Fund (FFLP) is expected in December 2026. "This funding would constitute a first step towards a more ambitious national program for loss and damage response benefiting the most vulnerable communities," according to a note from the Ministry of Environment (MDE), published following a meeting between its minister Valéry Fils-Aimé and officials from the FFLP, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.<\/p>
