Venezuelan interim president Delcy Rodriguez thanked American President Donald Trump on Wednesday for the oil agreement reached by the two governments, which will bring "well-being" to the country.
This agreement, announced by Trump on Friday, is set to see the United States take majority control of more than 65 billion barrels of the Caribbean nation's reserves. "When I speak of increasing production, I speak of the well-being of the Venezuelan people," the leader stated from Caracas.
