Thirteen people—six children and seven women—kidnapped last Sunday in Kenscoff have been released. The information was welcomed by UNICEF in a statement published on Friday, July 28, 2026. The organization also provided details on the circumstances that led to this positive outcome. “Among the children are three under the age of 2, one 7-year-old child and two teenage girls.
