SNGRS Responds to Criticism of Waste Management in the Port-au-Prince Metropolitan Area

While a recent Le Nouvelliste article questioned the apparent lack of action by the MTPTC-MdE-SNGRS trio in the face of the accumulation of waste in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area, the Director General of the National Solid Waste Management Service (SNGRS) has provided some answers. In an interview with the newspaper, Daril Baltazar gave an overview of the actions carried out as part of the “Konbit Haïti Zéro Déchet” project, the renewal of the institution’s equipment fleet and the situation at the Truitier landfill, among other
