Two pillars of Haitian music will share the same stage on Saturday, August 22, at the Karibe Hotel, for an evening titled “Fusion.” Tabou Combo and Orchestre Tropicana, both of which celebrate their anniversaries in August, will celebrate their longevity together before what is expected to be a large audience. The group founded on August 27, 1968, will blow out 58 candles this year, while Tropicana, born on August 15, is marking 63 years of existence.
The evening will also feature artists Albert Chancy and Lionel Benjamin as guests. Ti
