The Urban Mobility Observatory (OMU), housed at the Henri Christophe Campus of Limonade of the State University of Haiti (CHCL/UEH), has published its first assessment of mobility in the Cap-Haïtien metropolitan area. Conducted toward the end of the first quarter of 2026, the study highlighted the difficulties faced daily by users of the Vaudreuil–Cap-Haïtien and Limonade–Cap-Haïtien corridors, between deteriorated roads, chronic congestion and dependence on informal public transportation.
