The electoral process has just concluded a good week. The Electoral Council completed the registration process for political party groupings. Eighteen political party groupings bringing together 236 political parties out of 316 registered with the CEP ahead of the upcoming elections. While waiting to scrutinize the submitted files, the CEP and the government should be pleased to have found the right formula to considerably reduce the number of candidates who will appear on the ballots.
