Speaking on Panel Magik on Tuesday, July 14, attorney Frandley Denis Julien stressed that the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision does not mean the judicial proceedings have come to an end.
He explained that the U.S. administration had asked the Supreme Court to rule on the matter on an emergency basis, without adversarial arguments, a request that was opposed by the legal team representing TPS beneficiaries. The Supreme Court ultimately took that objection into account.
