American Airlines Resumes Service to Haiti as Fils-Aimé Highlights Diplomatic Engagement

American Airlines will return to Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, beginning November 1, 2026, the company announced on Friday, June 12, 2026.

The U.S. airline, which suspended all of its operations in Haiti in November 2024, will resume a daily nonstop service between Miami and Cap-Haïtien starting on November 1, 2026.

Asked about the announcement by Le Nouvelliste while in Boston for Haiti’s opening match at the World Cup, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé highlighted the advocacy efforts undertaken
