More than 80 deaths and nearly one hundred injuries had been recorded as of Monday, May 11, during the armed violence that has shaken northern Cité Soleil since last weekend. This toll was provided by human rights official Fritznel Pierre, who appeared on Panel Magik on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
