The Association des Industries d’Haïti, in a press release on Thursday, April 30, warns “once again” of the critical worsening of gang violence in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince, in the Artibonite and Centre departments. It calls for concrete measures and, as a warning regarding the objectives of the transition led by the government of Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, stresses that: “Without a rapid return to security, any attempt at economic recovery or an electoral process is doomed to failure.”
