Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé is considering a thaw in relations between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. “We cannot be Siamese twins who do not speak to each other while living on the same island,” the head of government told Le Nouvelliste when asked about his willingness to travel to the Dominican Republic. “I don’t know yet. That’s a very good question. I am thinking about it,” Mr. Fils-Aimé indicated.
