“I have the honor to inform you that His Holiness Pope Leo XIV has appointed as Apostolic Nuncio to Haiti His Excellency Monsignor Jude Thaddeus Okolo, Titular Archbishop of Novica,” Father Claude Eric Andriamirado, chargé d’affaires of the Apostolic Nunciature in Port-au-Prince, announced on Wednesday in a note to the Catholic Church.
Monsignor Okolo was born in Kano (Nigeria) on December 18, 1956. Ordained a priest on July 2, 1983, he is incardinated in Nnewi. He holds a degree in canon law.
