877 New Officers Join the PNH in the Fight Against Gangs

A first cohort of 877 police officers—out of a projected total of 4,000—has just joined the police institution. The ceremony was held this Friday, January 23, at the National Police Academy.

A total of 877 police officers, men and women, from the 35th class (P4000 program) have joined the Police Nationale d’Haïti. The Director General of the police institution, Vladimir Paraison, praised the courage and commitment of these young recruits who chose to join them in the fight to restore Haiti’s authority and security.
