Haitian security forces have dealt another blow to illicit arms and ammunition trafficking networks in the northern part of the country. In less than ten days, two separate operations carried out at the Port of Cap-Haïtien and at the Quartier-Morin terminal led to the seizure of a small arsenal and the arrest of several individuals suspected of involvement in international firearms trafficking.

The most recent operation took place on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Cap-Terminal S.A 2 (C.T.S.A 2) in Quartier-Morin
