Dressed mostly in white, holding Haitian flags and placards aloft, thousands of citizens took to the streets of Delmas on Saturday, January 3, 2025, for a citizens’ march initiated by religious leaders in support of peace, unity, and national solidarity. Rare for its interfaith character, the mobilization brought together representatives of Vodou and Protestantism around a shared message: to put an end to the spiral of violence eating away at the country.
