The version of the electoral decree published in Le Moniteur on Monday, December 1, 2025, does not fully correspond to the text initially submitted by the Electoral Council to the CPT, a source at the CEP told Le Nouvelliste. According to this source, the CPT made six additions, including two major ones, without the prior consent of CEP members.

In the version of the draft electoral decree sent by the CEP to the Presidential Council, there was no mention whatsoever of restrictions targeting individuals sanctioned
