Appearing on Magik 9’s morning program on Friday, December 12, 2025, the Director General of the ONI, Reynold Guerrier, detailed the main problems the ongoing reform aims to address. “One of the first issues this reform will resolve concerns the late transfer of registers,” Mr. Guerrier said with satisfaction. According to him, centralizing the system will allow data to be recorded in record time and will help put an end to the recurring problem of civil status records not being registered.
