Since Friday, November 14, the Electoral Council has officially submitted the draft decree and the electoral calendar to the Presidential Council for publication in Le Moniteur. More than eight days later, the CPT remains silent on the document and is seeking to modify certain dates in the electoral calendar, Le Nouvelliste has learned.
The calendar sets the first round of the presidential and legislative elections for August 30, 2026, while the members of the CPT are supposed to leave power on February 7, 2025. T
