Like their predecessors, the Grenadiers were not spared a first-round elimination, suffering three consecutive defeats, just as Haiti’s national teams did in previous tournaments: the senior men’s team at the 1974 World Cup in Germany, the U20 women’s team in France (2018), the U17 men’s team in Brazil (2019), and most recently, the senior women’s team in Australia (2023).
