In the case concerning the brutal killing of former Haitian President Jovenel Moïse, the Port-au-Prince Court of Appeal has issued its first decision after hearing several defendants during weeks of proceedings. The court has ordered additional investigation to complete what it considers an incomplete inquiry.
Deeming that the information which led to the order issued by investigating judge Walter W. Voltaire was incomplete, the court decided to overturn it and take new action by ordering a supplementary investigation.
