The Port-au-Prince Court of Appeal issued an important ruling on Monday, October 13, during a public hearing in the case of the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse. The court annulled the order issued by investigating judge Walter Wesser Voltaire, who had indicted 51 individuals, including former First Lady Martine Moïse.
In its decision, the court ordered the reopening of the investigation while maintaining the detention of the individuals implicated and currently incarcerated in connection with the case.
