In Port-au-Prince, as in other Haitian cities, children with speech disorders, intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders are often marginalized. The few specialized schools that exist isolate children and reinforce stigma. It is in this context that Pascal Néry Jean-Charles decided to dedicate his career to school inclusion and psychology.
