MENFP Unveils New Policies and Greater Assistance for Families Ahead of 2025-2026 School Year

The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) held a press conference this Friday, September 12, 2025, at the MENFP Inspectorate General in Musseau, to announce the main provisions adopted for the school reopening set for next October 1. On this occasion, ministry officials shared the new measures taken for the start of classes and the government’s support for parents of students.

The theme “Restoring the Authority of the School”, adopted during the previous academic year, has been renewed for the 2025–2026 year. Minister Augustin Antoine believes this theme has not yet been sufficiently developed and remains relevant. He specified that the school reopening will be officially launched in the Northeast Department, at École Makillon des Pêches.
