The Trump administration has a plan to eradicate arms trafficking in the region, announced U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a joint press conference with his Mexican counterpart, Juan Ramón de la Fuente, on September 3, 2025. “Part of our security plan, part of our implementation, is to eradicate arms trafficking.
