At the Carifesta Village in Grand Market, Haitian artists did not miss the opportunity to put Haitian culture in the spotlight. Everything began around 1 p.m., when the group Nanm Vodou A, led by singer Charline Jean-Gilles and maestro Jimmy Kerby Toussaint, stepped on stage for their very first appearance at the Caribbean Festival of Arts.
