Ava Soon Lee Secures Gold for Haiti in Asunción
The Haitian Ava Soon Lee made her mark at the Pan American Junior Games in Asunción (ASU), Paraguay. In the +67 kg taekwondo category, she prevailed in the final against the Mexican Paloma Garcia to bring Haiti a medal. “I am delighted to win Haiti’s first gold medal; it means a lot to me,” said Ava Soon Lee after the final.
