Once again, Rameau Normil leaves the helm of the Haitian National Police (PNH) through the back door. Returning on June 21, 2024, to replace Frantz Elbé, Mr. Normil was replaced by Vladimir Paraison on Friday, August 8, 2025, just hours after the first cabinet meeting of the CPT under Laurent Saint-Cyr’s leadership.
Mr. Normil had previously led the PNH in August 2019, replacing Michel-Ange Gédéon, until November 2020, when he handed over command to Léon Charles.
