The government of the Turks and Caicos Islands has “approved the immediate implementation of a six-month moratorium on the issuance of first-time work permits and visas to Haitian nationals,” according to a statement released following the 18th Cabinet meeting held at the Governor’s office on the island of Providenciales on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
