Security Forces and Future of Haiti: Sectoral Roundtable Raises the Alarm

The series of conferences of the Sectoral Security Roundtable continued in Pétion-Ville on Monday, July 28, 2025. Under the theme “National and Multinational Security Forces in Haiti: Challenges and Perspectives,” state and civil society actors gathered for the fourth session to debate the serious security crisis in Haiti. An advocacy document, the result of the four conferences and five meetings of the Sectoral Security Roundtable, will soon be presented to the public and authorities.

The first series of conferences of the fourth Sectoral Security Roundtable (TSS) concluded with this session. High-ranking figures in Haiti’s security apparatus participated in the discussions, analyzing the security situation while seeking solutions to curb the enormous crisis shaking the country.
