U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has issued a statement explaining the reasons behind the arrest of businessman and politician Pierre Réginald Boulos. He was taken into custody on July 17 and is currently being held in Florida.
According to the statement published on Monday, July 21, 2025, the agency under the Department of Homeland Security revealed that Mr. Boulos is involved in acts of violence and the destabilization of Haiti. His arrest was carried out in support of the U.S. Department of State.
