On Magik 9, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the Director General of the National Airport Authority (AAN), Yves Ducarmel François, stated that a $100 million envelope had been approved by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for expansion work at the Antoine Simon Airport in Les Cayes.
