Washington Visit: PM Fils-Aimé Presents His Official Report

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé returned to the country this Thursday, July 17, 2025, following an official mission to the United States, as part of a proactive diplomatic effort aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and advancing several key issues for Haiti. Accompanied by Mario Andrésol, Secretary of State for Public Security, Me Guerly Leriche, his advisor, and Amos Dorival, a member of his close protection team, the head of government had left the country on Friday, July 11.

The arrival of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé this Thursday at Toussaint Louverture International Airport sparked a lively atmosphere. Numerous supporters, mobilized by citizens' committees, had gathered since the morning in front of the diplomatic lounge to welcome the head of government back from his official mission to Washington.
