Cayes-Miami Connection Stalled by AAN silence

Although it was scheduled to be inaugurated in mid-July, the Cayes-Miami flight that the company IBC Airways intended to operate is now at a standstill. After a successful test flight on June 12, the airline’s representatives have been unsuccessfully trying to obtain authorization from the National Airport Authority (AAN) to secure space at the Antoine Simon Airport in Les Cayes. According to its representative in Haiti, Dimitri Fouchard, IBC has sent six letters to the Director General of the AAN. All have gone unanswered.
