On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the Port-au-Prince Court of Appeal heard former acting Prime Minister Claude Joseph as part of the investigation into the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse. For several hours, Mr. Joseph appeared before the judges, harshly criticizing the order issued by investigating judge Walter W. Voltaire, as well as the role of Prime Minister Ariel Henry. At the end of the hearing, the court ordered a suspension of proceedings and the lifting of the session. The hearing is set to resume on Friday, June 27, 2025.<
