PNH Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary, Marked by Resilience and Commitment

The Haitian National Police (PNH) celebrated its 30th anniversary on Thursday, June 12, 2025, during an official ceremony held at the National Police Academy (ENP). The event brought together Presidential Councilors Leslie Voltaire, Smith Augustin, and Edgard Leblanc Fils, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé and members of his government, PNH Director General Rameau Normil, members of the diplomatic corps, officers from the Multinational Security Support Mission, among others. The occasion provided an opportunity to reflect on the challenges, sacrifices, and hopes that have shaped this key security institution over the past three decades.

Born out of adversity, the Haitian National Police has remained true to its motto: "To Protect and Serve." Over the past 30 years, the PNH has established itself as an indispensable pillar in safeguarding lives and property in Haiti. The institution has weathered many storms, including social, political, and security crises. Despite these challenges, it has maintained cohesion and upheld the core values that inspired its founding: fraternity, respect, loyalty, fairness, and professionalism.
